Costs vary depending on the team you get involved in. Most teams will ask for subs, which help contribute to the all-over costs of entering a team in the Festival. These are usually around $200-300 but may be more if the team is aiming to travel to other festivals. It's a good idea to talk with your team manager and find out what kind of financial commitment they want from you.

 

You will may also be asked to buy your own paddle, which makes for a nice memento at the end of the regatta as well. These are fairly cheap at approx. $28 plus gst.
