Volunteers

Want to get involved with the festival but paddling is not your thing?  We have the best bunch of volunteers in the Country lead by Margaret and Keith Marsh.

We welcome more happy smiley volunteers who just want to get involved.  

You will be provided with a free shirt, hat and lunch as well as free training.

You don't need to have any prior experience as we will train you but you will need an enthusiastic and fun atitude. 

Energetic runners to post results and hand out volunteer lunches

Start line personel

Back up timers - Stop watches and camera operation

Boat loaders - bail boats after each race and hold while teams load.

Marshalling checking off team lists

Microphone  - Got a golden voice to call up teams

Commentators - to call the racing

Merchandising  - retail sales

Customer service - looking after overseas and out of town teams.
