From 2011 - all paddles being used by adult teams at the NZCT Wellington Dragon Boat Festival must have the Internationally recognised IDBF 202a approval sticker on them. The sticker must match the registration number of the manufacturer. Not all Tee Bars have this approval. Don't be fooled by anyone selling imitations as paddles will be checked on race days for legitimacy.
